That makes sense. I will still look for better lighting than what we have. Do you have any links of what we can and cant keep if we go with PC lighting? I'd rather make a DIY hood with 4 (or 6) normal full spectrum flourescent bulbs. (4-6 25W bulbs would give me the same Watts, but not the same spectrum). That would be much more up my alley price wise, and replacement bulbs wont kill pocketbooks.

I dont tihnk right now corals are our big thing. Eventually yes, but certainly not now. Feather dusters, YES! She was in love with those too, and they are much cheaper than sea horses. So we might get her one or two of those when we give her the tank, so there is something living in the tank (and visible).
