ill try to help also here is what my reef keeper does for me

temp controller
ph monitor and controler
ato with floats switch
timed outlets for lights easy control from my computer temp probe comes with a rj6 end i cut mine off put a molex on it ti plug it into my sl1 instead of itemp so i can use the open port to control it from my computer simple fix u just calibrate it just like any other probe
reef keeper has many options and will and can replace all monitors equipment controllers only thing i can say is i should have got the elite instear of lite being limited to 4 modules with lite dont take long to out grow but digital aquatics has a upgrade program for the lite so for $150 after its done to get a rke head unit hope this helps

After the learning stuff, I am liking it...never having anything else in my home to compare it to I can only say I have no regret...It never fails! so thats good enough for me.. and I am not even using half of it's capability...Just for the record the stuff is pricey, but what ain't in this hobby.....Lecter..
