well this is the sulfur style.. I have heard bad about the coil types as well.. hopefully it works well.. would love to go back and feed the sharks every day again...

here is a shot.. my denitrator is 0 out of the reactor.. upped the flow and hooked it to the tank.. here is a shot.. tank nitrate on the left.. denitrator on the right...

JArrod,

Where were you able to get the flanges for the base and lid at? Did you order these or buy them locally. Also what did you use to get the water tight seal between the pumps and and lastly what did this cost to build.

i got the flanges made locally by a guy i know..... i used used o rings for the seals on the top.. i used plumbers epoxy between the acyrlic tube and pipe.. with pump and such.. maybe around $100 to build.....

well seems to be helping for sure.. i have added even more fish.. and feed a lot.. corals look WAY better.. everything seems happy. here is a comparison shot from tonight..

denitrator on right... tank on left.. pic is a little darker than it really is.. looks about 10ppm in person.. which is perfect for me..
i am flowing
20 ml = 10sec
120 ml = 60sec/1min
7200 ml = 60min/1hr

7200 ml = 7.2 l
7.2 l = 1.90203878 US gallon
through the reactor

yes and the alk.. which is great for me..

I was running ph of 8.4-8.5.. now around 8.1-8.2

also alk was sitting like 18DKH and not droping for anything.. now is around 9dkh.. so works great for me

Shoot that what I was worried about. My PH runs low. 7.9 to 8.1. Even after pumping fresh air in so I guess this is not an answer for me. Great job keep the updates coming.

i am going to add a kalkwasser reactor as i hear that will help keep PH up as well..

What was your total tank volume and how much sulfur do you have in the chamber? I know you added some.

total volumn around.. 1000 gallons i think right now.. and i have like 6l total around 3.8 L of sulfur and 2.2 L of Bio Matrix..
