Default Best Copper treatment?

Hey everybody. I set up a 46 gallon quarantine/hospital tank and plan on treating my fish for ich. I lost a CB and even though non of the other fish are exhibiting symptoms of an infection I want to nip it in the butt. So I was thinking of using cupramine. Ive been researching it and it has good reviews. Can anybody else give me input on this? I plan on letting my display tank go fallow for 4-6 weeks to get rid of the ich also.

I have used several types and brands and I think cupramine is the best copper to use, Because I think it is a little easier on the fish than the others.

I am dealing with the same issue (ich). My plan is to fallow my DT 6-8 weeks and put all fish in my QT and hyposalinty it for a few weeks.

I chose hyposalinty over copper since copper is toxic.

Goodluck, it's a sad day when a reefer gets ich in his/her tank.

Got some Cupramine, gonna start treatment today. Wish me luck! everybody is strong and hardy and so Im hoping this isnt too stressful on them. I got a nice big hospital tank for them, plenty of pvc to hide in and the parems are perfect.

As long as you follow the directions they'll be alright. I've never had a fish die of copper during treatment.

How are things going with the treatment? Your display completely empty in terms of fish?
