My 55 Gallon freshwater
I recently just took down saltwater and returned to the fresh water world. I upgraded to a Acrylic 55 gallon aquarium, HOT canister, 1 DIY filter on big pump inside the tank, 1 MJ400 set as top water air supply, Alot of hand picked drift wood and rock from a local river. The only things inhabiting the tank as of right now are 3 African Cichlids. Sorry for the picture quality taken off cell phone.

I take it your going with real high light needing plants? Otherwise you won't need the co2. Heads up- African cichlids and plants don't mix well. You may want to try angel fish ( they are cichlids too ) if you want to stick with cichlids. |
