Just from my experience. I ordered a snail order with free shipping awhile ago and half of them showed up DOA. They ship with almost no or no water. They did finally credit my account. I tried again with a frag pack using the credit and alittle cash on my part. The Ric and a shroom where completely dissolved, both bags were just full of stinky reddish water. the zoa's in the shipment still haven't shown any signs of opening up and all were broke free from the plug or rubbel they were mounted on. They arrived on Thursday. Emailed my DOA's as they requested from the included paperwork again,heard't ything yet (being the weekend might ake a day or 2), not that it matters really, I won't throw a dime their way again.

On the + side, packaging was outstanding. Stryo box with heat pack and packing. Nice outer cardboard box well labelled with LIVE FISH this side up and stuff, nice directions on acculmation and stuff.

Hopefully your guys shipment works out better just wanted to share my experience with these guys.

Thanks. I have ordered quite a few times from them and I do agree you get a lot of DOA's and I wouldn't really recommend them either unless they have something you can get from other places, but I have a credit with them as well from a previous order DOA so I need to use it up, but then I'm done ordering with them.

I've done quite a few orders with Reefs2go and have never had an unsatisfactory experience. How long ago was your bad experience?(appears very recent) Did you contact Megan and voice your concerns? I cant believe she would just ignore you.

I do Thank You for sharing your experience though. If you don't mind I'd like to forward this to Megan.

I will keep you updated with our experience with this order.

Thanks, feel free to share with them. My last order was on the 10th. I am glad your past orders have been succesfull, they do have some nice stuff and great daily deals, and I would like to buy again but 2 times leaves a bad taste in mouth. Probably shouldn't have used the free shippig option and upgraded.

My major problem with reefs2go is the fact that if they are out of stock of something that you ordered (maybe not updating their website fast enough) they only give you store credit. If something is unavailable that you place an order for, you should be refunded the money, not given store credit. I understand giving credit for DOAs but for items that don't even go out with your order because they dont have it is a bit ridiculous that you can't get a refund.

Lol that sounds like a trick almost, list a bunch of cool stuff wait for the orders to come in only to never have it and say ahh well here's your store credit to what we do have..

I haven't had them do the store credit thing yet; but it aggravates me when I get an order together and by the time I place it, trying to get enough for free overnight shipping, an item sells out so I have to find something else or pay overnight out of my own pocket.

When I have placed my orders I call and speak with them and have them send me a Paypal invoice. Sometimes they don't answer right away but they always call back or if you email them your request they will do it that way also.
Having them send a Paypal invoice is key because then they cant bill you for something they don't have in stock.

Still seems kind of shady to not allow you to get a refund or ship it at their cost if they don't want to refund. Seems like that should be illegal to sell you something they dont have and then not give you a refund.

I totally agree. I think they should refund your money if they are unwilling to ship when it comes in.(on their dime)

I spoke with Megan regarding this practice. She said that is their default but if that isn't acceptable contact her and she'd be more than happy to refund your payment source,CC or Paypal, the amount of the unavailable item. DOA is still store credit only but can be placed in this buy which would include free overnight shipping.
