Default Another M57 Wiring question

I am a little confussed how to wire my 250 watt M57 ballast. Here is what I got from another post:

1. White Wire from Power Cord goes to the wire labeled COM.
2. There should be a second COM and that goes to the white wire on the Socket.
3. The Black wire on the Socket goes to 1 side of the CAP.
4. The other wire on the Cap goes to the wire labeled CAP.

What voltage line out of the ballast do I use?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott, m57 is a 175 watt ballast, did you mean m58?

The only wire I can see that you are missing is the 120v input which goes to the black wire of the power cord. If you have a multi-tap ballast it will have 2 or three more input wires labeled 208, 240 or 277v which should then be capped and stowed.

Mike,
Good call. It is an M 58 ballast. I do have a touch of idiotitis. I thought I needed to use the 120 but I wasn't sure. Yeah it is a multi-tap so I think I will set it up and let the juice flow...hopefully not through me.
Thanks,
Scott

Can one of the mods edit the thread title so if somebody searches a 57 or 58, they don't get confussed.
Thanks,
Scott
