Default Best Honeymoon locations for Reefers

Hi All,
I am happy to announce that Jessica and I got engaged last week

Things have been moving a million miles an hour ever since. So far we've got the ceremony booked (greenfield village 9/28/13) and we're working out the final details of the reception.

We both love reefing and would like to spend some of our honeymoon snokeling on the reefs. I have seen a few posts from other reefers who have done this before. Do you have any advice on locations, resorts, travel agents, time of year etc. Thanks!

-Rob & Jessica

We loved Neptune's Cove on Anegada. The island is largely uninhabited, so the reefs are unspoiled. We rented a car and drove to a different one every day to snorkel. Aruba was also great for snorkeling, but haven't been in 10 years so it may not be currently.

Congratulations on the engagement. Don't have any experience with that kind of travel, so will leave the suggestions to others. Wish you the best with your upcoming wedding.

Thanks Calvin!

So we talked to a travel agent who is an avid diver and she said to go to Fiji instead of French Polynesia. She said Fiji is much less expensive and the reefs can't be beat. Anyone been to Fiji?
