The water is clearing up and things are looking great. In about a month the corals should color back up and look great.

Your tank overall is gorgeous. I have 2 favorite things about it though.
1. That you put the corals some what close together so that they grow into each other like they would in the wild. So many tanks have frags a foot apart. I love that look.
2. Your sand. I wish and hope and pray and beg that I could find the secret to keeping my sand as clean and algae/debris free as yours is. I always get a tiny little bit of brown dusting once in a while. If you have any secrets please share!

Love you tank, and your an inspiration for me to try to keep a beautiful tank.

Thanks for the love everyone!

Here is a short video I used my phone to shoot. The tank was just setup about a week ago so the water is slighting murky due to the new sand. The rockwork and most of the water come from a previous tank. The total system volume is 420 gallons, display itself is 72x36x22 Rimless 246gl. The tank is currently lit by a couple Radium 250's which will be replaced with T5's once I get the new fixture. Much more info @ my blog or build thread.

As always Sunny you tank is elegantly simplistic and beautifully done, someday I to hope to be at that level.

New and improved video!

I will be adding another Metal Halide next week along with T5 supplements. The white PVC pipe will be replaced with a proper return nozzle next week. More info @www.rimlessreef.com

Be sure to watch it in 720P HD!

Looks awesome Sonny. Did you cycle the system when your old reef was up or switch it over all at once? If all at once, how did you avoid a cycle?

I really like the open space look.

While many of the corals in the tank are purposely frags, here are shots of the mother colonies I was growing out before selling them off on our site. I have frags of all these beauties in my display. I could have put in whole colonies but where is the fun in that!

My favorite piece so far of all the corals we have gotten in is the PC Superman Table. This is by far the nicest SPS I have EVER come across:

PC Superman Table

PC Aussie Gold Torch

PC Crayola Table

PC Too Blue

PC Ice Acro

PC Golden Bonsai

PC Aussie Blue Table

PC Aussie Red Table

PC Super Blue Hoeki

awesome line up bro. I'm sure the frags will be mini colonies in a few months and colonies by next year! can't wait to see the progress.
