Hey Tom, you sure got those tanks loaded up they look great.

I'm kinda curious to the dimensions of your 180 and are you vodka dosing either of those tanks? And how's that coming along? Any reduce in macro/algae?

Default Yes

I am running both bio pellets for about 5 weeks and I hit it with 1-2ML or airplane size cap full vodka. If I see film algae on the glass I give it 1 ML and it is gone. I have never had the tanks so clean and the corals so happy. With the new bulbs I can take better pics but still does not compare. Another thing I did recently is reduce the photoperiod. My electric bills are over 500 so I have 2 blue plus come on for 2 hours then the other 2 blue plus then the special and purple for 5 hours. Since I changed/minimized the color of the corals has significantly improved.

Yes The algae in the sump is almost completely dead. Also no algae in the main tank. I just disconnected the GFO/Carbon a few days ago and the corals seem happier. Perhaps this provides a small amount of phos that may be beneficial.

The 180 is 60X24wideX30tall.

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 320 and go all high end. 800 watt Leds 4 mp40's and plant the 100 sps frags I have growing in the basement tank 90. Its going to be profound.
