Default NanoCube 12DX (LED powered)

*Reserved for current FTS*

So I wanted to post a build thread intially in the AIO for a Red Sea Max 130, unfortunitly I ended up selling it before I could even get it running. The tank was scratched and had no luck finding a used chiller for the tank.

Well I found this tank for $20 but it does not have a return pump and one of the ballast is not working. I've been wanting to try out LED's so I went with Steve's LED and decided to go with the Luxeon ES series. He has a nice retro fit for this tank at a Very good price point best of all its dimmable out of the box.

Still need to grab a few things for the tank primarily a stand and return pump. So there maybe a delay with updates but once I get the LED's in I'll share some pics.

Thanks for looking hopefully I'll get a stand soon

I was looking for ways to upgrade my biocube hqi and stumbled across this thread... Long story short after some research, I ended up ordering both this media basket and the fuge basket, light, and media for them. please let me know how yours works out!

Will do, from everyone I've seen run the racks they love it. It should be standard in all AIO.

I'll defiantly say that the biocube stock has awful filtration, cant see this being anything less than top notch

Alright so the LED retro kit is partially done got the fan from Steve and extra bonus that will be shown later. I riveted, drilled, and mounted the LED's yesterday with thermal adhesive. I am waiting on a replacement soldering iron due to my original one only being 15 watts. So I ordered a 60 watt off amazon that should be here Tuesday.

Pics of quality parts... (don't let the black tape fool you the fan is riveted just used electrical tape as a sealer)
