Yes I have pretty much decided to stay with T5 fixture but just keep hoping I can come up with something to work in my canopy. The canopy has 2 sections that I would have to put 2 T5 retrofits in but one is 5" and one is just under 5" wide. There is also a little support board at each end that would prevent one of the retrofits from being a full 48" long. So, I might be able to get away with a 48" 2 bulb and 36" 2 bulb of these retrofits but not sure if they would fit. It would be very tricky.

Aruba Sun T5 Retrofit

There is a version that is slimmer, the V version.

Any chance you could put 2 24" units in (one in each half)? Find a friendly carpenter to help squeeze it in for ya!

I use 6 on 75 and can grow sps on the bottom without reflectors so you could yse nine on a 125.

You use 6 what? That thread is nine months old. If your talking panorama LEDs without reflectors and growing sps on bottom well prove it because I in no way think that is possible. And I say this because I own panorama pro modules on my 75.

Default leds

I recently bought some cheaper led units off ebay and have been testing them for a several months now. I have 2 120 watt units on my 75 gallon and everything is doing great. The zoas love them, and I also have leathers, frogspawn, a few sps even. I paid $140 for each light and have 30 white and 25 blue in each unit. I get a little shimmer effect, but still have glass lids on the tank as well. I tried the ones you are asking about and was not happy with them, they get really hot also. I also have a 125 gallon with 2 72" T5 fixtures on it 320 watts ea, and like the leds on the 75 better.
