I see what appears to be possibly 50-100 TINY... What appear to be baby peppermint shrimps, do they have live young? I never noticed eggs or anything on either of them, but they also hide all day, will they survive is this is what they are?
They could be mysis shrimp - I have tons in my sump and anywhere my fish can't get to them. If they are peppermints, they won't live but are great live food for your reef.
Baby peps don't look like peppermint shrimp, and they mostly float around at night trying to get to any light. They don't usually make it till the morning, because whatever don't get eaten by coral and pods will go toward the light in the morning and become an easy snack.
Nice thanks guys! I assumed peps cuz they are identical to the adults, but mysis is a good thing as far as I know? My acans and clowns are prob loving it lol
