Just an FYI, the way this thread is titled it sounds like you are posting about a leather coral that eats fish. Are you looking to rid yourself of soft corals all together or just the leather coral? What other corals do you have in your tank?

I have a friend with a emerald crab in his tank. It tore his green polyp toadstool apart one night.

No i'm not trying to rid the tank of the coral. in the past 2 week my toad stool has been munched on and was wondering which of the 2 type of fish would be more apt to do it as i have had the coral since i set it up. I have 2 angels a bi-color and a juv. koran. no new fish in the past 6-9 months. i feed my fish 2-3 times a day. multiple types of food (frozen, pellet, nori, ect.....)

Ya the angels probably picked at it, especially if the coral was newly added and may be in their "territory". Also some tangs are pickers because they are natural grazers like yellow tangs. They are considered reef safe but still may pick at corals.
