Well, first, becarefull not to use alot of Garlic! It's one of the richest food that has phosphate in it. Second, feed them only what they can consume within 2 to 3 minutes (The most). Give them a little and wait untill they eat all of it, and then give them a little bit more (Less than what you gave them the first time) and then one more time if they're still hungry. Two to three times is more than enough. Fish alway seem like they're starving, but they're not. Also, try to rinse your frozen food before feeding them (This will help reduce some phosphate that's in it too). I hope this will help

In my openion, the most important thing is that I always wait untill they eat the first food given to them. If I see something left and touches the sand, I'll stop feeding. The reason why is because if they're hungry, they'll never let the food get to the ground.

In my experience its better to feed brine and mysis separately id feed probably 2 cubes of brine early and 2 cubes of mysis later in the day and maybe one sheet of nori about 2-3 times a week.

Charles this is one of those ask 100 people, and get 100 different answers. I've had some of my friends who only feed every other day, as well as those who feed multiple times per day. The truth of the matter is, it's all on your tank system. You know it better than anyone else does. Some feed less frequently to keep the fish active, some more to keep their resistance up to help offset things like ick. Everyone seems to have one thing in common....."Keeping your water parameters where you want them". Personally, I feed once a day, however I never feed the same food back to back days. Maybe flakes and mysis once day, pellets and nori the next. I do the garlic thing once a week. Fish in the wild don't always feed all day, everyday. And a lot of the fish are opportunists. If they get hungry enuf, they'll eat what is around. Good luck on whatever decision you go with...and as long as your water parameters stay where you are comfortable with them, it'll work.

i think the last post is pretty good. my feeding schedule is pellets and nori one day, pellets and frozen/live food the next. the reason i feed the pellets everyday is because the foxface is a beast when those hit the water. also feedin the live caulerpa shouldnt really be a worry, it'll stay alive until consumed so the only waste is fish poo.

Here is 101. I would throw away the brine shrimp and use the garlic on your linguini and clams instead of feeding it to the fish. (unless they are Italian,)

I would go with one cube of mysis and some nori for the tang.
I have about twice as many fish as you and I feed one cube of mysis with live black worms and fresh clam (that I freeze)
Of course I feel live worms are the absolute best food but thats just me.
Some of my fish are 18 years old so I am fairly sure they are eating enough.

Take what you think you need to feed them and cut it in half. I always leave my fish hungry, dont forget they normally feed off the rock, they need to search for some food like they would in the wild. Plus it helps keep algae at bay. I have a lot of fish, and I feed pellets every day and on wednesday I do frozen. I feed what amounts to about 3 cubes of mysis, oyster feast, phyto feast, artipods.
