Default Lily"s Seahorse Tank

This is Lily's Seahorse tank thread,

It's been up and running for 4 months or so and started with one seahorse just to make sure conditions were going to be ok and to get some experience with one to make sure we could care for it probably, and so far everything's been great!!!!

For the 6 weeks we've had the seahorse now were looking to find her a mate to enjoy the tank with.

Other tank inhabitants consist of a Wheelers Shrimp Goby and a Firefish Goby along with a Striped Hermit Crab from the gulf, along with a snail or two.

Several different display macros, including red Gracilaria, pencil caps, Halimeda (Money plant), Ulva, and Shaving Bush.

Only one soft coral, Pulsing Xenia at the moment but plans for a couple more interesting pieces along with some zoas of course.

The Tank is the new 12g Fluval Edge and is equipped with stock led lighting along with a par38 bulb with 3w Cree led's.

Filtration is pretty basic on the being mostly relied on the live rock and 20% weekly water changes along with the plants to help thing out, there is a stock AquaClear filter running more or less just for oxygen exchange, especially seeing how the entire top is sealed glass for awesome top down viewing.

Well enjoy the pics and thanks to my dad for helping me as I'm just finishing up the 3rd grade! Also if you couldn't tell I went for an Egypt theme and hopefully can figure out a few more cool related things to add.

Thanks that would be great!!!!! we do live in the metro detroit area right between commerce twp and walled lake.

I tried to setup a SWEET iced tea stand to raise some money but it's been hard because we live at the end of a dead end street.

I'm glad everyone likes it and I will post new pictures soon
