Exclamation vagrant mushroom

Well, several days ago one of my red mushrooms left his home of about three months. He has been wandering all over the tank since. I wasn't concerned at first, I figured he would settle down in a nicer local. However he doesn't seem to be and I am worried he isn't going to get enough light or food drifting around everywhere. Should I try to secure him somewhere? Could something be wrong with him and that be why he wont stick anywhere?

Jen

I once had a unattached mushroom in my sump it survived for months with almost no light. I would not worry about it dying it will attach before then

+1 this always worked for me too, and once attached take the piece of Rock rubble and glue it to a larger piece of rock.

all my red shrooms (dunno why its the red ones)are what i call "jumpers" when they have been here for awhile they jump off there rock and find a new home. chances are that more will grow where the jumper was . my red shrooms grow lots fast and when they get crowded thats when they start jumpin off rocks for me. dont be worried about light with most shrooms ,they get bigger for me in less light depending on what type of shroom it is .

Well there was three mushrooms on the rock. One just moved over leaving a baby behind but this one abandoned ship completely.. Oh well when he gets back to an area I can snatch him from I'll try to get him on a rock all by himself lol. Thanks for the tub idea!
