Bleaching Acan???

I am really at a loss about my acan that I added about a month ago. Really disappointed as it appears to be bleaching white by some sort of fungas or something. I thought it was the sailfin picking at it, but he hasn't been bothering it at all. I thought a had a similar problem with a brain coral, but that seems to be doing better now. Parameters are good. Any thoughts?

I would add 4 T5s with 2 sicce voyager 3s osc every ten seconds on wavemaker for flow and acan is in middle as far as height goes. I noted above parameters are good but for more detail 0 ammonia and nitrite and phosphate. Nitrates less than 5. Calc 420 alk 11 ph 7.9 - 8.1. Got a mag test kit yesterday and looks like 900 only so dosing seachem mag per directions. Water changes every two weeks 10 percent. Gfo and carbon on brs reactor. S120 eshopps skimmer. 70lbs LR.

Possibly too much light.
An infection is possible, was it a wild or local aqua cultured?

too warm or too bright or both. they like low low light.

I will put him on the sandbed then and see how it goes. As for heat 79-80 isnt too bad is it?

try that. temp seems fine.

He deep were u keeping it?
4 bulb T5 not much light, I keep my acans 78-79 degrees w/o problem

Do the other polyps on the colony still puff up?
