Calcium deposits on glass
Does anyone know why calcium deposits...or some other mineral always forms on the glass when a clam is near or resting against it? I've always wondered why... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk |

Maybe because the flow is low where the clam is near allowing things to attach easier to glass

.
I also noticed this. I thought the flesh of the clam deposits a calicum based substance to build its shell. I noticed that when the flesh would touch the glass that the deposit would form in the shape of the clams flesh.
