Just wonder how much carbon are you guys using in your tank? Do you use reactors or use bags and just hang it? Also what brand are you using and where is the best place to buy it? I was thinking about group buy if we could get enough people in it and find good price.

I use Knopp and just hang a bag between the first and second chamber. I change it every two weeks, I also use Rowa Phos, I have been looking for Rowa Carbon but I have been unable to find it.

Just switched to Purigen.....seeing if it makes any difference. I run it through my Magnum 350. My experience with carbon is spend a little more a get a good grade. The low grades dont do a good job and may leach Phosphates>

I usually run Black Diamond in a reactor.

Me too, I have used BD for over 10 yrs on my fw tanks.
