I'm looking to spend a signifacant amount of money on tanks and equipment but for some reason people are still posting things with no details and no pricing! Some one in charge please do something. Its less hasle just going to a store.

well help out

if you see it many people just aren't aware I send them a pm 1st then if they don't address the issue fairly quick I report them this way when a mod logs on they know there is a problem and where it is.. helps make there difficult job a tad easier. after all the mods make a whooping $0.00 often they don't even get a pat on the back..

Don't you think reporting someone to the mods for not responding to your PM is a positive way to address this? After all, some people actually don't live online (like I do :)), and often can't get back to responses immediately. I'm just waiting until I hit 30 posts so I can sell some stuff! LOL

The Mods have a significant task in reading all the posts to maintain the rules. If you see a Selling thread that does not have prices posted as required by the rules, please report the thread. That report floats to the top of the list and a Mod will review it for any action that needs to be taken.

Patience!
When a post is reported for no pricing a mod will first PM the person and request they add the prices. They do give them a time limit to do so, before the thread is removed. As stated before not everyone is here all the time. Giving them a little time to come back online and add prices wont hurt anyone!

well you use common sense on this

somebody who has been here a while that has already bought and sold should no the rules. no I don't sit around waiting for people to respond just a curtsy thing if you want to look at that I am being mean then just reporting them is the way to go the idea is to help the reefer the mods you are helping this person sell it also. and in actuality they should have already read the rulles and be aware of them they are right at the top of the selling forum as stickies.

I don't think reporting people to the mods about them not posting their prices is a bad thing. Especially if you don't want to seem pushy. :buba_phone:

Also, reporting people doesn't take away from their reputation points. (Not that anyone really uses them enough anyway. go aheah, look at your User CP, see if being reported has lowered it any.)
