How do you fix a small bulkhead leak with the water still in the tank ?

I may be able to think of a few ways..how large of a bulkhead is it and where in your tank is it located? A picture would speak a thousand words if you can.

I would use 2 part epoxy, you can buy it at Lowes and it's called "Aquamend"

try to tighten it. once its hand tight go a 1/4 turn with a wrench.

if its drips then just give it a week or so salt creep seals fairly well

1in bulkhead

hard spot to get to ....

I didnt think you could apply the poxxy wet ....

Fudge ....

Salt creep isnt working ....

hmmmmm ....

is there anyway to do without that tank for a few minutes? just drain the water down till it's just past the bulkhead, take it off, put a new seal in, slap er together, good to go -yes

I have slapped some PVC glue on a slow dripping sink drain before and that worked, might work for you if you can get at it
