Hello Michigan Reefers Family!
Sadly its time to sell my aquarium. I will be moving in the summer time and will not be able to bring it with me. The tank and all the equipment was purchased in June of 2018, and the tank was set up in September of 2018. I will be breaking the tank down in March...
My alk is low (5.6 dkh) I need to do an adjustment and get something to dose on a regular basis. I don't want to wait a week for online order. Where is a decently priced place within an hour of Flushing (Flint area) that I could pick up? Any suggestion on what I should use?
$400. I calculate this all out and I have upwards of 800 into this system.
I have decided to sell my current reef setup so that I can upgrade. Although I will need some of the items I am selling eventually, I am doing a light remodel to my living room starting this month so I will replace that...

Hello fellow Michigan Reefers!
Question for everyone- I have an excess of old dried out live rock from my 100g that I want to use in my new reef tank which is already up and running. After I complete the acid washing process I would like to possibly throw a little paint/color onto those new...
130 Gal Complete with livestock
This system is complete, and I will NOT be parting it out (don't ask, not gonna happen). I'm traveling again for work and I cannot do my critters justice. I trusted someone to watch the tank, and we all know how that turns out. Lost many really nice corals...
Just moved and decided not to take the tank with me. Everything is in working order, no issues, and all livestock is healthy and disease free.
ALL LIVESTOCK HAS BEEN PRESENT IN THIS AQUARIUM FOR 3 YEARS AND HAS BEEN 100% DISEASE FREE, HEALTHY, AND FED FROZEN FOODS/ALGAE.
So I lost my only fish and am wondering what to do now. Here's a synopsis:
Added live sand, dry rock (not cured, first mistake) and premixed water from the LFS.
Keeping it short, fish died (was itching but no external signs of ich - my theory was dino toxins as I did see a lot...
Recently took my 12 Gallon Mr Aqua (35.4" x 8.3" x 9.4") down and was going to dumpster toss because I don't have room for it. Then realized somebody might want it.
Needs to have some coraline and algae scraped off, but otherwise it's scratch free. These are nice tanks if you want something...

Trying my hand at a new saltwater tank. My first one. Purchase this live rock and was wondering with the green is on it. Is it algae if so what should I do about it if there is anything I can do about it. Thank you for any information.
All my coral is gone so I'm looking to sell my live rock and fish. Ideally would like to have the Rock gone before I sell the fish.
I have well over 100 pounds of live rock. I'd like to sell it all together as I don't have a good way or weighing it. Some pieces have mushrooms and goodo coraline...
