My dendro has red algae growing all over the rock, along with some green. It seems to be choking out the dendros, even though they're all still opening. I've tried to get it off manually and haven't had any luck. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

We just returned from Palm Beach Florida. During low tide we saw many of these things attached to the rock. Slimy gel coat, about 3" in length. Any ideas of what they are? They kind of look like shark eggs???
OK i have an issue with Vermetid snails. I lost a colony of Zoas and couldnt figure out why. but just realized it was the Vermetid snails that covered them with the mucus they secrete to catch their food. They are the lil red/brown tubes growing all over the rock.
