i woke up yesterday and noticed one small white dot on my tang didnt think to much about it. i woke up this morning and he has about 10-15 white dots all over his body. what should i do i dont have a quarntine tank and i have coral in this tank so i cant treat it with copper.

I want to start mixing my own salt water for my tanks. But I can't hook up my owm R/O unit and would have to use tap water. What could I do to make sure the tap water is good enough for my tank? Is there a water conditioner or something I can use?

Do you need to cycle live sand before you add it into a tank like you do live rock?

im new to this so im not sure what to do, what is the compleate process in cycleing my tank? i seen someone said that during the cycle or something i have to do a water change?? and if so how much water? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!! i want to learn but everyone is telling me different things!
