We are reserving tables now for the big swap on Feb. 10, 2008. Sellers planning to attend should reserve a table. If you need a table, please reply to this post and send me a pm with your paypal email address so I can send an invoice for the swap table. We want to have as many early registrations as possible so we can get the table configuration set well in advance of the swap.

Early registration (before Feb. 2, 2008) prices are as follows:
$30 for full table ( Includes admission for 2 people)
$15 for half table (includes admission for one attending seller. One person per half table, please)
$10 selling (more than 7 frags, but less than 15 frags and not wanting a table...this is a good option if you just are dealing with pre-sold items)

Normal registration (after Feb. 2, 2008) prices are as follows:
$35 for full table ( Includes admission for 2 people)
$20 for half table (includes admission for one attending seller. One person per half table, please)
$15 selling (more than 7 frags, but less than 15 frags and not wanting a table...this is a good option if you just are dealing with pre-sold items)

Non-seller entry fee
$5 ( bring in 7 or less frags )
non-Selling MMMC members and members of MASM and GRMAS FREE with proof of membership

One advantage to reserving a table, besides having a place to sit your cooler and hang out, is that your buyers stand a better chance of finding you. Swaps often get packed and finding the person you are looking for gets tough. By pre-registering for a table, you will be identified on a map showing the swap layout so buyers know right where they can pick up their frag.

and that's a negative on the power. I just sold more than the maximum 15 frag's so I guess I need a table.

i have never been to a swap...how do they work. can i just show up and buy corals...or do i have to bring corals as well?

You don't have o bring corals. You can show up and just buy but some of the people that come don't bring anything or certain coral's that aren't already pre sold. If you go to this thread http://www.michiganreefers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57780
you can see some of the thing's that people are bringing and you can let them know that you want it. Then you can either paypal them for it or pay for it at the swap. But don't ever pre order something and not buy it.

In the next few week's the thread will get busy. Alot of people wait until right before the swap to post what they are bringing.

A friendly bump to the procrastinators...

Tables will be $15 for 1/2 and $30 for a full before February 1. After February 1, the price goes up to $20 for 1/2 and $30 for full. There is a limited supply of tables with power still available.

I sent a Message to Jimsflies as I need to reserve a table as well for myself. I am bringing some of the South Bend, IN (Northern Indiana Marine Aquarium Society) guys (girls) as well. I think we have about 8 people coming so far. Please get back to my PM and I will get my payment sent right away.
