Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has stopped out at the new Grand Haven store? Is it worth the trip? What's the selection like?

I stopped by the store last weekend. It's called Saltwater Reflections. I purchased an sps and some inverts. They seem to have a wide selection of fish, inverts and corals. I would check it out....

In addition, the employee working, might have been the owner, seemed knowledgeable and very friendly. Their number is 616-846-8920.

The second new poster already knew the phone number...what a break! LOL

Until butterfly and crazyreef hit one hundred posts, I will not spend one dime in Saltwater Reflections.

On a completely unrelated note, wouldn't it be nice if a store owner could just post and introduce him/herself without trying to be sneaky? We could then welcome the owner and maybe even treat each other in an open and friendly manner.

I stopped in there last weekend and the store was clean and the livestock appeared healthy.
I don't do corals yet, but his selection of corals appears fairly small. He had what I believe to be a juv. french angel labeled as a Cortez Angel.

He did have some interesting live rock that was really flat pieces.

However, I asked him to call on a quote for an acrylic tank and he never called me back. I will be purchasing my tank elsewhere and it's fairly unlikely that I will return.

cortez angel juveniles look very similar to french angels. they are two seperate species.

The angel didn't have any blue on it. I thought that was the main difference between the French and Cortez angels.
