Hey Reefers, I’m getting my tank set back up again. Wanted to see what folks are using to transport water? I recently was diagnosed with 2 hernias & don’t want to swing 5 gallon buckets again! Lol.

What size tank you going to run? If you run a mixing station, T off with a valve and whatever length hose to your tank to supply the newly made. Get a python kit for drainage. If that’s not an option, you could setup an automatic water change from one of the box stores. Outside of that all I can think of is don’t do one or hire someone, lol. Good luck and welcome back!

I keep it simple. Every time before I feed the fish (generally daily) I change a gallon of water. I have two 1gallon containers of Arnold Palmer. One for the water from the tank, the other with fresh salt water to replace. I have a 55g barrel reserve with a 1/2 inch bulkhead near the bottom with a plastic spigot. Whole process of changing water takes less than a minute. Sometimes I change 2gallons per day. Work’s simple and great for me on the 110g tank.

Thanks for the advice. I used to be a fish enthusiast until the maintenance drowned me, literally. I had no idea what to do and had no place to start. When I start my tanks again, I will definitely be referring to your advice. Thank you! tree service denver

Hey I bought the $10 dolly cart from Harbor Freight and put a 32 gallon brute garbage can on there. Its great, I wheel it out and wheel it away. Plus i can mix a lot more SW at one time.
