Found a good post on r/c about getting rid of aiptasia.Just get a large syringe and a cup of boiling water,stickem and watch-em melt .I had about 50 of them in my 30g because when i was a new-be i thought they looked cool until they took over the tank.
well three cups of water & a hour later can't find one just gooey remains.worked for me and kinda fun watching your problem melt away.

Yeah, been there done that. They came back eventually. I nuked them several time with boiling RO water, and they still came back.

I got some Joe's Juice (www.joesjuice.com) and had much better results.

it's been a few days and nothings came back,even if it's temporary the tank looks alot better. the syringe i used was a 10ml with a 5 inch 16 gage needle maybe that made the differance.

I also used the boiling water... It works ok if you do it under water but for it to be really effective you have to take the rock out of the water and then do it.. they have no chance then.

ya it did work a lot better out of the water,i just pulled the rock out far enough to expose them so i didn't boil everything else .
