Hey guys....

Thinking about adding an anemone to my tank. I have a 55gl w/ 260watts of pc lighting. Hoping that is enough light as I would like to show my Maroon clown some love. Do I have enough light for this? What anemone would best suit my clown? Will it sting such things as gsp/mushrooms/polyps/corals etc? Please let me know...

any anemone is gonna sting other corals. i would buy a bubble tip. usually in the right light they will stay where put.

Neal,
An anemone will move around and sting your corals. They can also eat fish, hermits,shrimps, crabs and snails.
Also I believe a Bubble tip can get very large-over a foot in diameter-so be prepared to give up a large portion of your tank for it. Bubble tips also are known to split so you may end up with 2 (or more eventually). I'm not sure what other anemones would be okay with PC lights.

On second thought I think I will forget about the anemone. Too many negatives to make a clown happy.
