i use epsom salt for mag buy at any super market
i use baking powder for alk buy at any super market
i use peladow for calcium, i get it from work but i believe you can buy it from home depot, if not i believe you can buy dow flake there
any reason you use only the epsom salt instead of the mag flake? i thought longterm use of only epsom salt would cause an unwanted rise in sulfate according to RHF?

Me Too!!! I use epson salt just because I have not found any Mag flakes yet. If you are doing your water changes no problems. I also got some PO4 remover and am very happy with it.

ae you using the regular GFO or the high-capacity GFO? I wonder if the difference is worth the extra $$?
Regular. I have read that all GFO is the same.

I forgot that I also got dry mag supplies from there as well...again a flawless transaction.

The Kalk that Bulk Reef Supply sells is called Mississippi Lime and is the purest food grade lime available from what I understand. I ordered the 9lb bucket and have been using it now for about 3months. I have seen no problems with it at all.

Just purchased PO4 remover no issues, but I have not yet put it into my system as I am re-plumbing reactor into system. Part of my efforts to reduce power consumption.
