After running these 4 Apollo Led fixtures for 4 years I decided to make the most of my investment and rebuild them. These fixtures lasted longer than the company that made them. Back then these ran for $400 each and what lured me in was the solid construction with an heatsink and Meanwell drivers. Sometime over the years the fans went out which caused the LEDS to overheat and burn up. As a result I will be installing ball baring fans which last double as long as the brushless.
Another annoyance about the fixtures is the need to use three cords which really is not needed as it is apex controlled so I will be splicing the power into one cord for the two channels.
The color of these fixtures were never really right for me running 33 royal blues and 22 6500K whites. I will be changing this to 44 royal blues and 11 blues which will simulated the color of ATI blue plus. In all of my years growing SPS this is the very best LED combo for both Growth and Color. These fixtures are now used to supplement MH and T5s on my two frag tanks.
Each fixture repair costs about 25 and 4 hours of time to repair.
