I have a 28 gallon Nanocube that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. I have suddenly seen the dreaded aptasia, Theres is one one on a liverock and three in a chamber on attached to the glass and a pump. suggestions please and thank you.

Get a bag of Mrs wages pickling lime and mix with water until you get a nice thick paste. Turn all your pumps off and completely smother them with the paste using syringe. That's what works for me if you can get to them easily.

People will say to inject them but you really only need to cover them in it.

You should also get a peppermint shrimp, they'll be able to get any small ones you don't see

Peppermint shrimp works for me. Every year or so I get about 6 and the only aips I get are in the sump.

I use the syringe method with kalkwasser. I just put a small amount of tank water or top-off water in a cup or small container, mix in a tsp of kalk, draw into the syringe and inject the aiptasia directly. Boom! buh bye aiptasia. I've been pretty unlucky with peppermint shrimp in my experience. The ones I have owned have all completely ignored aiptasia.

I agree about the peppermint shrimp, i also added about 6, two months ago and they cleaned up the few i had. The shrimp are still alive inside my rocks so i wont replace until needed.
