I have just got my system home and setup. I am currently manually toping off system. I want to automate this process.

I bought an entire 200 gal show tank from a pet store that was closing. It has 400 lbs of Live Rock, etss 800 skimmer, 50 gal breeder for a algee filter and a 60 gal sump.

I am wanting to setup my RO water holding barrel to have an Auto Top-off into my sump.

Any ideas?

What I have is this

I have a float switch setup (mine is in the main tank since I don't have a sump, but placing it in a sump is ideal) to turn on an air pump. The air pump, pumps air into the ro holding tank. When the ro tank presurizes from the pump, water travels up a seperate hose to the tank and slowly fills the tank.

I have been using this rather flawlessly for over a year. Of course I have a 5 gallon ro holding tank (which is air tight) and a 29 gallon reef. I am sure the concept can be applied to a larger setup.
