I've been using baking soda for well over a year and pickling lime for kalk for the same amount of time. I have a mixed reef which is slowly being overtaken by the SPS. I would like to get a calcium reactor but money, space, and a wife are all difficult barriers to clear.
been using baking soda for about a year now in the tank and about 3 years in the swimming pool.Dont know why i didnt put 2 and 2 together, they are both for ph
Just started using pickling lime for about a month now and love it and as soon as my Reef Builder runs out I'm going to be using Baking Soda. Randy-Holmes on RC has some good recipes for a lot of the additives for our tanks.
