I would get them local and pay a little more. Nothing is worse tah ngetting a sick fish in the mail and dealing with people over the phone. I always buy local.

I would recommend going to some place local like chow hounds. He sounds like a reputable person to me.

I would compile you wish list and give it to them. This way when the tangs you want our on the inventory list from their distributor they can get them all at once for you.

The only fish in there now are 2 Maroon Gold srtiped clowns and a twin spot hog and a long nose hawk. I am still putting together a list of compatable tangs. Looking at the Atlantic Blue, Unicorn, and Kole for now. Any suggestions?

twin spot hog - These are good little fish but when they become adults they can be very aggressive and nip at corals.
I had one for about 2 years than 1 day it became a terror and started to fight with all my fish than he decided to nip my Leathers & mushrooms. He fought my tangs, filefish and my trigger.
I did find out that they can go in a reef when younger but should be moved to a fish only aggressive tank when mature. I dont remember if it was scott micheal or fenner that I read about them. I only heard they were great little reef fish....lol

I am not sure what size tank you have but that unicorn tang gets large.

I have a 180gallon tank. Ya I ave seen him chase things before and he was a sucker for my trap before so I will keep an eye on him. I made an order today from marinedepotlive One unicorn one atlantic and a purple. We shall see how it goes. hey are the only ones with any kind of stock. I guess the huricanes have made a little dent in there stock also. I would have bought local but here in GR it seems prices are a little jacked up in my opinion.

I personally have liked the fish I have gotten online. My father has had good luck recently with liveaquaria.com (Dr. Fosters and Smith group). Great customer service and good quality livestock.

Chow hounds had decent corals but it looked like most of the marine fish had problems-ragged fins and white velvety coating on several of them. If you have them order some I'd specify that they do NOT put them in their tanks. Plecoking1 was very nice though, and I got some nice corals there.
