I met Carl about 6 months ago through Marie and have since filled in my tank with some nice additions of fish and corals. Carl sets up and maintains reef tanks. He has a warehouse on the east side where he keeps his stock and will see people privately by appointment. After many requests, Carl is allowing me to share him with MIreefers. Call him at 248-980-3474. It may take a few calls to get a hold of him but it is worth it. Even when his inventory is low, I have always found something to add to my tank.

redwinger, wrong Carl i would have to say, the Carl in this subject barly reaches 5 foot tall maybe 5 foot 4 if that. He's a little guy.

I talked with Carl today and he was very flattered that we were being talk about.

He asked if there would be any interest in hosting a Frag Swap at our newly furnished showroom (no longer looks like a warehouse)

Not sure who coordinates the swaps, but if there is interest in us hosting one, we would be interested.

Our showroom is fairly small (about 1000sq ft total - 1/3 of that is the fish room, the rest is a showroom for Interior Designers and Architechs to use with clients looking to do large instalations) we are not set up as a LFS.

I mention this in case it would be better to host one in the summer where we could setup in the parking lot as well. (not sure how many people usually attend)

I am open to hosting on a Sunday if that is good with folks. We will need a bit of help on what needs to be setup as none of our staff has ever attended a Michigan Reefers Frag swap.

We can have power, tables. We can setup a few small tanks as well. And order some Pizza or something.

But I think the first thing it to come up with a date.....

Just wanted to say another good word about Carl. Met him begging of the summer and have delt with him since then, always willing to help great guy and amazing corals and fish, always gets the best stuff and everything is good size and doing awesome. If anyone can get a hold of him its worth working time and time to get a private apointment.

its at 14 and livernois i think, right by oakland mall.. pretty easy to find... i will be heading back there shortly hopefully for some nice new corals.
