I was curious if anyone on the site has purchased from Clams Direct before? My cousin in FL. swears by the place so I was checking out the website and they have a good variety and good looking clams.

Also they can ship up to 10 in a box, would anyone like to go in on a shipment to cut the shipping costs? I was thinking about 3 clams for myself, so that would leave 7 spots available.

I highly recommend Clams Direct. I got a couple clams from them a few months back. The clams are always very healthy and the staff there gives a lot of care in quarantining and care for the clams before you get them. Also, no one can beat their selection or knowledge of clams.

We had a mini group order just before Christmas from Clams Direct and we all happy with what we got. I will wait until Barry gets more colorful crocea & maxima before jumping in for another group order. The crecea he is selling right now are 1st grade not the electric ones.

you can get squamosa easily locally. Are you looking for the blue dot ones?

Yes. Barry has a 7" reddish color w/blue ring, it looks really nice.
