I have a conch(queen I believe) that has been buried in the sand for about 2 weeks now. I've had it for about 2 months total, I transfered it from another tank. It was very active in my other tank and when I first put it in my new tank it was moving around and got stuck between some LR. I freed it and it got stuck the next day! Freed it again and a couple days later it buried itself, and the only thing you can see is its eye. I know its still alive cause I see the eye move, will it ever come out??

Thanks,
Rich

My conch will disappear for days or even weeks, then I see him trolling around for a few days, and then he disappears again. I think it might be feeding when they bury themselves, so they find a spot with a lot of food and stay there until they are done.

I've had fighting conchs bury themselves for over a month. I don't know how many times I have given them up for dead and then they pop back up again. I would give it at least another month and then maybe start thinking it is a goner.
