Sorry for the blurry pic. This came on a rock I came across, it was much smaller. Now it's about 2 in x 2 in. I'm not sure what it is. I'd like to know, so I can put it in the optimum place in the tank. Thanks!

cant really tell from the pic but my guess is sinularia dura. could be a different kind of leather as well.

I agree with Wayne. I have a similar coral that I believe is cabbage.

Cabbage leather as wayne and Mark have already stated... make mine vote three in favor of cabbage.

I have two who look very much like the picture you posted. They are cabbage corals. Mine have been slow growers but very stable.

i have it more commonly called flower leather but i have also seen it as cabbage. cabbage leather is usually close down to the rock though

I have a lot of this (I call it cabbage leather as well) and I was wondering how to "frag" it. The color I have is purple and since I have so much I'd like to get rid of some at the frag meet to make room for other coral.
