Did you buy it at a store, or did it hitch on to some liverock?

Almost looks like a porcelain crab hosting a hermit shell, but thats just a wild guess. He sure is a hyper crab though whatever he is.

He came in an order of dwarf blue leg hermits from etropicals.com. He is fun to watch because he is constantly running around, and over, everything.

A while back I ordered a few things from the Florida Collector in the keys. i ordered some hermits which came right out of the gulf and they all looked like that.
Still have some and all appeared reef safe...no probs

Just a common reef hermit. They can get really big. You may have to move them once they grow. They tend to pick on snails.
