Has anyone connected a canister filter to a overflow box or bulk head ??
If so let me know how ?
What was the out come ie performance??

problem is getting the flow rate fast enough to keep up with the u tube. Why do you want to do this?

Use a powerhead to break up the surface. I suppose you could use something like that you just have to make sure your cannister filter isnt too large. You do know that if you connect it to an overflow its going to work the same as if the overflow was connected to a sump. You cant get the overflow to work overtime unless you add an addtional U tube.

I take it you dont have a sump?

If you are just looking to skim the water that is being drawn down to your canister filter, they make attachments for that.
I believe both Fluval and Eheim make one. I hope this helps.
