I have a return pump that does 1300 gph. Theres roughly 66" of tubing plus 3, 90 degree elbow. Is it correct that you lose about 75 to 125 gph per foot and 50-75 gph per elbow? So I am doing about 390 gph?

You need your: horizontal distance, vertical distance, size of pipe, a count of all fittings, valves, elbows etc and the type and model of your pump.

Total feet of vertical plumbing
  • 1 foot for each 90º elbow
  • ½ foot for each 45º elbow
  • 1 foot for every 10 feet of horizontal plumbing
I know that's not what you are looking for but if you do a Google search, you can find a fairly precise formula to compute head pressure.
