I just introduced a second green-banded goby tonight. I am hoping it is a female :feminist: . The last time I tried pairing the gobies up I ended up with two males that had to be separated. So when the lights go on tomorrow and the two meet, what behaviors should I look for to see if its  at first sight. This is my first time trying to pair gobies.

Even if it is a male/female pair, it wont be love at first site.

Someone will most likely show some dominance towards the other.

Darn! You are right the male made sure that the new one knew who's tank this was. However, It wasn't nearly as violent nor did he display much real aggression. Good Signs? With the other one he would turn a deep shade and puff-up then chase it relentlessly. This one he seems to chase a little then move away.

The male is about one and half inches and the new one is around one inch... biggest I could find. "she" (crosses fingers) has plenty of room to hide as they are in a 120g
