Russ...can you bring enough for the rest of the class?? I am looking for some more variety in my fuge. I now have some wire and cup algae, along with some reddish stuff I got from Meg and Dan at the last swap. Always looking for more. Maybe smallish variety bags for whatever price you set???

Just an idea.....

I may be. My bud rmkj is getting some to me tonight.

I may need more so maybe I'll show. If you have any left. Looks like other people may want some.

Thanks.

Red winger go to the trop. They have macros, I picked up some spagetti for 12 bucks HUGE BAG. I belive Spagetti and cheato are the same thing. I might have some calp but I need to let it seed for a bit longer. Its growing coraline on its leaves if you dont mind, LOL.

Yes I now have a fuge full of the little buggers. One day I didn’t see any the next it was full really strange, that was about 2 weeks ago. The calp you give me is doing very well, too thanks. I also have these clear worm like things in there too. Very different looking kinda like a flat disc worm with 2 tails, no clue as to what they are, an ID on these would be nice. They kinda flap around on the glass a second species like this one is bright green but look the same.

My cheato is a different story. Ever since I've added it every couple of days I must trim off the cyno covered area and decaying matter. This stuff is like a polyfilter, catches everything. Im thinking of anchoring it to the bottom so it doesn’t touch the surface because the surface is what seems to be dying off. Any suggestions would be nice.

I know with the stuff I gave you if it grows to high and touches the surface of the water it begins to die off. I don’t know if this is the same thing that you are experiencing or not.
If it is just trim it back, or like you mentioned keep it at the bottom and see if that helps any.

My Spagetti/cheato has taken off quite well. Do you know if tangs will eat it? I was originally trying to grow macros for my tang, but the cheato and grape calup have done so well there is no other algae. I'm starting to get a little worried because I've got the tang and a lawnmower blenney, both of which are in fantastic shape right now, but I have _no_ visiable algae in my main tank now.
