Both are females. the larger one is the redei and it came from nowas reef I couldnt find my male at the time and my camara battery happened to die when I did. ill post more pics later.

They're so pretty! I'm jealous! I have a 29 gallon, but I think I'll wait until December to get my seahorses. Just to give the rock more time to stabilize. I'm hoping to get a pair of reidi.

Good luck with them. I killed 4 before I was able to keep these ones alive. On top of that sh's are hard to come buy right now. when the lights come on ill see if the horses are hanging around each other again and take a pic of all 3 =].

Yeah I'm ashamed to admit that I used to have 2 reidi several months ago. I almost killed them because I didn't have my tank all together. I sold them back to the fish store because I was too guilty to have them die by my hands. Needless to say I really don't want to repeat that incident. I'm going to make sure everything is 100% perfect before I put them in my tank.

I'm hoping that by December or early next year the whole CITES thing will be sorted out and we'll know if they can be collected again, just in smaller numbers. Ofcourse I'd much rather find some CB reidi, but breeders aren't having a lot of success with them. Not many available.

did you try at seahorse.org. looks like in a couple weeks or so some guys on seahorse will or may have some avail for sale.
