I got two acro frags and some {one more thing that I think is the problem but don't want to blame it yet until I see if anyone else had problems similar to this}. Well about Tuesday I notice that 3 or my fish look like crap-o-poopoo. There skin looked like it was just falling away or something. They were, yes were, my clarkii, royal gramma, and mandarin. All have been healthy, fat, and happy for at least 8 months and two for almost 2 years now. By Thursday they were no where to be seen, and my serpent is very very large. Anyone have any problems with fish after adding anything from the swap?

I got some zoo frags,an acro frag, an organ pipe frag and I also got 30 hermits and 3 shrimp-no problems here.

I lost one small acro, but nothing else.

I bought 3 acro, 1 LPS (Candy cane), some shrooms, and a clam.

Oh yea, some Chateo too.

Brought home two acros, one monti, and 1 red emerald crab. Crab died, but corals are all OK. Nothing happening to the existing critters/fish I had before the new ones came home.

Sounds like a bacterial infection which will knock off fish pretty quickly. It probably came in with the frags/frag water, but it is surprising that it would take out healthy fish that are unstressed.

Did you dip the acro frags? Did you add the water they came with to your tank? just wondering

The spines are venomous, stressing it out wouldn't release toxins into the tank.

I think it was actually the algae that I bought for my fuge. The two frags I got came reliable sources. I'm pretty pissed about it, but more pissed at myself.

I bought some chateo from the swap,no problems here.I can not remember who i bought mine from,everthing i got is doing well.some small acro and a leather and some zoo`s and xenia.

Bought some Chaeto and a couple of monti frags. No problems here.

I bought a bunch of stuff, zoos, acros and a few milis. One of my percs has some type of infection in the front of its mouth, but probably due to fighting with my other perc. I have pretty much given it a low possibility of survival. Its not eating, but I dont think its anything from the swap. At least I hope not!

I bought some chaeto also and a deresa clam and have no problems with either doing any damage to my tank.

Mantis, my clarkii also had a thing (sore/cut) on the front of his mouth. I'm sending you a PM to see if you bought from the same guy I did.

I bought from and/or trades with at least 10 people. Bought Acros, frogspawn, caps, hermits & snails. No problem with the clowns except the big tomato has taken to biting me since the frag. My black chromis attacks me in the other tank too. Never had that happen once before the frag. Splain that.
