10 years ago tonight I loaded all my livestock into my current tank, a 72x18x24 135g All Glass with corner overflows. We were living in a condo for 6 months while this house was being built... and today, 10 years to the day, tank has been running continuous all that time.

We've had some success, also some failure... and it's been a fun ride. Met a lot of great people, played with a lot of cool gear, including LEDs... I'm laying claim to being the first "Big" tank (over 6 feet wide) running LEDs on a SPS dominated and growing tank.... but that's another story.

I don't have a lot of fish in the tank (just 5) but two of them (Coral Beauty and Bi-Color Angel) have been there since day 1, and a third (clown goby) joined just a few months later.

Going to toss out a few full tank shots later.... after I eat some birthday cake. :) Here's to another 10 years!

Congratulations on keeping a successful tank up and going that long. Many will never know the challenge that is, or experience the sense of accomplishment that you must feel.

Do you have any "secrets" for success over that time frame that you would like to share?

Congrats again on the first 10 years and wishing you the best of luck in the next ten.
