any one have first hand knowledge of helfrich firefish? have a 30 gallon thats about to put up and i'm getting my wish list ready a month early. I have read a bunch, but i heard they don't like warm water, anyone have one. . . . could you maybe let me know your lights and tank size. I am going to get a Dracula goby or yasha goby a swales swissguard, maybe one other fish. I have wanted a helfrich since i've had a tank. Any info would be appreciated

Make sure to have a lid on your tank. They like to jump.

I have one. Yeah make sure the tank is covered.

Right now he is under non-HO T5s in my 29g biocube but will be switching to very HO Cree LEDs in about a week. I expect no issues.

Total livestock (fish wise) includes:
x1 helfrichi firefish
x1 green mandarin
x3 copper cardinal fish
x2 false percs

that one was just found and i believe its only found around those islands or something, crazyyyyy looking fish. If i were shelling out that kind of dough though it'd be japanese dragon moray OR candy basslet.

Thats ridiculous the ones at keys are 51.00 with pet club and look just as good, in my experience that fish has a proclivity to get ick.

I have a pair never try to jump not saying they wont try it in smaller quarters.
They are under T5ho, temp is about 78-80, 75gal, nice fish doesnt seem to act any different then the red firefish I had.
