I'm in the middle of moving And bought a new fish tank Have it half-full with water right now Half of my old water and half new water Trying to get it to cycle I had a air bubbler sitting on top Some morning I smell something kind of funny In the air bubbler pump fell in the tank It was still working just got hot and smells I'll just a little Zap when I pick it up out of the water Should the water in the tank still be good or should I change it The longest it could've been in there Running for is 10 minutes thanks joe

I would think the water would be fine. If you are worried, run some carbon. I would however, toss the air bubbler as it isn't any good now. Likely to be a fire hazard.

Dude, electricity and water do not mix, if you see anything else not made to go into water in your tank it would be wise to unplug it first.... I would also suggest GFCI in the future.

Water wise, if it was 10 minutes, it should be fine.
